An 11-year-old middle school student, Mert Delibalta, developed a drone that could locate the buried explosives. Delibalta's project won the "International Robot Competition" held at Erciyes University.
Mert Delibalta: "I placed the image processing device made with special SMD on the drone. In this device, I encode the elements of gunpowder in the computer environment with java software support. The camera connected to the coded image processing device starts to give warning signals immediately when they see these elements thanks to the detector system. The gunpowder is determining where he is."
